Banana & Strawberry

Banana & Strawberry is not a smoothie because it doesn’t contain dairy. Do not juice the fruit, just place in blender so you have all the pulp for added fibre. Instead of your regular morning coffee, place this in a large portable cup and drink on your way to work. This great tasting drink will keep you feeling full until lunchtime and is completely healthy.

This recipe is low in fats and sodium.

Banana & Strawberry Serves:

Recipe Serves 1.

Banana & Strawberry Ingredients:

  • 1 Banana
  • 100g frozen strawberries
  • ˝ pear, skin on
  • 2 tablespoons Psyllium Husks
  • 1 ˝ cups orange or apple juice

Banana & Strawberry Method:

  1. Place all ingredients into a blender and wiz for 1 minute until the frozen strawberries are broken up. 
  2. Place in a large drinking container with straw and off you go.
