Kula offer a variety of yoga styles including Hot Yoga, Anusara-Inspired, Ashtanga, Power Flow, Hatha, Restorative, Yin,Vinyasa, Pr-Natal, Mom and Baby, Kids and Teen Yoga. Oakville Class Description

Hot Yoga

Practiced in a studio heated to 38 degrees Celsius, Hot Yoga is a cleansing, powerful and expansive approach to Yoga. The hot environment stimulates the skin to sweat, which is an effective means for eliminating toxins in the body. The heat supports the lubrication of joints and it softens stiff muscles, and it’s beneficial for maintaining cardiovascular health. A hot yoga practice helps students cultivate greater focus, stamina, ease of mind and attunement, on the mat and in life!

Oakville Teacher Training

  • 200-Hour Curriculum-The Teacher Training Program is appropriate for anyone who would like to deepen their personal yoga practice, cultivate greater self-awareness, and learn the art of becoming an effective and inspirational teacher. The program is designed to help you grow and evolve as an inspired student of life and Yoga teacher. Our emphasis is on developing an insightful and intelligent practice rooted in alignment and connection to Self and others.
  • Pedagogy-'Pedagogy' refers to the art and science of teaching, which resides at the heart of our Teacher Training program. In other words, how you learn and how you are taught is a fundamental part of our programming and core philosophy. Based on years of experience and study in Educational philosophy, Kula’s program has been designed to empower you as a student and as a teacher.
  • Tution-$3,600 till Sep 1,2012 ans $3800 After Sep 1,2012 .Fees include unlimited yoga classes at Kula studios during the training, Kula's Yoga Fundamental Postural workbook, two yoga blocks and a yoga strap.
  • Program Dates-The Teacher Training class meets once a week on Thursday evenings, and aproximately one weekend a month for the duration of six months. The program begins October 11, 2012.

Their personal study draws from many lineages of yoga, including Anusara, Ashtanga, Baptiste, Hatha, Moksha, Vinyasa and Yin. Kula Annex 2012 Teacher Training Program

Kula is a Yoga Allianace certified Teacher Training School.This 200 hour program will begin by transforming the foundation of your practice through the deep exploration of asana (postures), alignment principles, pranayama (breath work), meditation and philosophy. From this foundation, we will delve into the art and technique of teaching to empower you to become a skillful and inspiring teacher. The teacher training requires a willingness to connect deeper, to cultivate a steady practice, and celebrate this life long process of learning and self-discovery.

  • Weaving intention and poetic philosophy into classes
